Hollywood, CA ? Luxury retailer Louis Vuitton opened its newest store at Hollywood & Highland Center on Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Louis Vuitton expanded its presence at the center just in time for holiday shopping. The retailer?s new 3,700 sq. ft. space is positioned in one of the center?s most prominent areas ? Awards Walk located off of Hollywood Boulevard leading to the entrance of the Kodak Theatre, home of the Academy Awards and American Idol Finals. Louis Vuitton has occupied retail space at Hollywood & Highland Center for the past five years in a small leased location within the DFS Galleria store. Strong sales at their current site prompted them to make the move to this larger, freestanding location within the center.
?We are very pleased to be able to accommodate Louis Vuitton with their desire for an even larger presence in our center,? said Shaul Kuba, Principal of the CIM Group. ?This new store will be complimentary to our current mix of fashion retailers as well as the new retailers slated to open in the center and the adjacent Hollywood community within the next year.?
With the ongoing redevelopment of Hollywood to attract a more urban, yet sophisticated demographic, this well-known retail landmark will be offering a mix of retailers to meet the needs of the diverse community and help further the transformation. In addition to Louis Vuitton making a bigger splash in Hollywood, other exciting retailers have also opened at the Center including GUESS, Giordano, Vino100, ISSI, and XXI Forever. New retailers coming soon: Korloff (a rare and exquisite luxury boutique from Paris) and the center?s exclusive boutique spa, Spa Luce, which are both scheduled to open spring 2008. Just steps away on Hollywood Boulevard, Tesco?s Fresh & Easy neighborhood market recently opened and H&M and Zara will open in early 2008.
?Hollywood is one of the fastest growing districts in Los Angeles with major retailers investing in the area, abundant clubs and restaurants, new housing and steady demand for office space by companies seeking a diverse urban setting,? stated Jeff Kreshek, Principal for the CIM Group.
